Canada (Ottawa/Montréal) September-October 2013

Another long-ish trip (three weeks or so). A trip I should have enjoyed and have fun in, but I was on my long long way to someplace else. I was there, but I wasn’t there. If only I’d known before, been taught or realised, about my own weaknesses, and other people’s illnesses. Still, managed to do a little tourism, and push to Montréal one day (where I was hoping to meet fellow Gooners but ended up just watching Arsenal (vs West Brom? I think but not sure) in a pub on my own. But I failed on the fun times, started wasting all my social potential for the best part of eight years on and off. Had a cigarillo one evening with a colleague, and that’s the last thing I ever smoked. So yes, some positive. Motivated by someone else. Meaning there was an incredible amount of good with the incredible amount of bad. But I know that, which is why I will never judge or condemn. Anyway….just a few photos!
