The Roo Story...continued. From nowhere to now-here.
Melbourne August-September 2010
Another great trip down under for maybe a couple of weeks? A 100G coherent first in APAC, inserting it into Melbourne area link. The weather was rather appalling most of the time, but great catching up with more arsebloggers (the amazing Simmo Reyes, Genie, and Teo), a chance to watch an Aussie Rules match (St Kilda vs Collingwood, right in front of Shane Warne (RIP)), catch up with an old colleague who I worked with in Switzerland 4 years earlier (and who is now (2023) back in France working with me again), and lovely linking up with colleagues from Malaysia too. Work was OK, non-work was once more fantastic.
