Not work, not football, just…holidays. A few days in the South West, and being near Bordeaux, I thought I’d take the train there for the day, just enjoy the sights (and possibly meet a mate there but timings didn’t work). Beautiful sunny day, managed to take in most of the monuments (well I missed la Grosse Cloche, but I had a train back to Ste-Foy to catch so couldn’t go absolutely everywhere), walked a dozen kilometres or so, many memories (last time I was there was for one of my sisters\u2019 50th birthday). I’m still impressed by the work they’ve done with the old Quais, and it truly is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Yes I’m biased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
